We went over to the Getty Centre in the morning and what a marvellous place it is. Fantastic building, great art, wonderful gardens and excellent views of the city....altogether a memorable Sunday outing. Our daily pic was taken by Velma who has come to live in the US from Guatamala (“WELCOME TO THE US!!!”).
After dinner we went walking through the main shopping area of Santa Monica, which was full of street performers, public salsa lessons, and shops open until well gone 9pm. Bella discovered her new favourite shop, which started up in Rome and has yet to come to the UK : Brandy Melville. She was in there for so long that I found a comfortable armchair and had a quick nap. They will do well in London if Bella is anything to go by.
